Peter Vendelbosch started as a craft potter working with his father Carl Vendelbosch since leaving school in 1975.
He established his own pottery gallery/workshop "Burnay Pottery" with his wife Trudes in 1983. Burnay means large pottery storage urn (traditional local pottery urn in Ilocos Sur, Philippines).

We are located in Main Inland Highway opposite Lower Moutere Store. We make Traditional NZ Stoneware pottery, hand thrown on a wheel. We specialise in custom made orders to your specifications and ideas.

We are open 7 days summer hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and winter hours 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We take phone/mail/email or fax orders and freight all over New Zealand door to door and overseas.
