Congratulations to Bridie Henderson of Richmond, Nelson, for winning the Portage Ceramic Awards in Auckland.
Bridies winning entry was entitled "Feathers", and as winner not only did she win $15,000 prize money, but the organisers of the Portage Ceramic Awards purchased her work for a further $10,000.
 

The Women's Lifestyle Expo is on again next year, and this time the organisers have introduced a new area called the NZ Handcrafts zone.
